BACKGROUND

The Eastern Province Cement Company was established by the Ministerial Decision No. 939 dated 03.04.1403H.

The Paid up Capital is 860 Million S.R. consisting of 86,000,000 shares owned by Citizens and official bodies as follows:

Public Pension Agency 10%

Public Investment Fund 10%

General Organization for Social Insurance 10%

Saudi Citizens 70%

The company is founded mainly to produce Clinker and Cement to cater the need of local market, Middle East and surplus to world markets.

LOCATION

• The Company’s Head Office is situated in Dammam, at Eastern Cement Tower, King Fahd Road (Dammam – Khobar Highway). The Towers which is raised as administration office and investment building is considered as one of the most modern architectural landmark in Eastern Province which the spaces are utilized in an attractive and scientific way.

• The factory Lies about 165 km north of Dammam in Al Khursaniya, on Abu Hadriya Highway.

• The fact that plant is near Jubail Industrial Port (about 70 kms), constitutes an advantage qualifying the factory convenient means of contact with outside world and the foundation of prosperous commercial relations with various world countries.
